男,医学博士,教授,博士生导师,北京大学医学部副主任,分管与医院、医疗服务相关的各类工作。现任教育部211工程重点学科——北京大学骨科学术带头人、卫生部国家重点专科——北京大学人民医院骨科学科带头人、北京大学人民医院创伤骨科主任、北京大学交通医学中心主任。主要研究方向:周围神经损伤与修复、骨折愈合的生物力学、关节周围骨折临床诊治和严重创伤救治规范的研究与推广。近年来先后主持承担国家自然科学基金(3项)、北京市自然科学基金、科技部863项目、科技部973项目(子课题)、卫生部十五科技攻关课题、科技部十一五科技支撑计划、卫生部公益行业专项课题、北京市科委重大课题研究专项等多项课题研究, 2006年度获国家杰出青年基金资助。累积获得科研经费3000余万。先后在国内外学术期刊上发表学术论文260余篇,在国外SCI收录杂志上发表研究论文33篇;获中国发明专利6项,获教育部高等学校技术发明一等奖1项、北京科技进步三等奖2项、中华医学科技奖三等奖1项。主编主译创伤领域《创伤骨科手术图谱》、《骨盆与髋臼骨折》、《创伤骨科手术学》、《骨折固定图谱》、《创伤骨科核心知识》等著作8部。
