'Do the right thing' or 'Just do it': Behavioral, computational and neurophysiological analysis of executive control

Executive control orchestrates the activities of brain systems and underlies some of our most sophisticated cognitive capacities, balancing our more primitive drives with thoughtfulness and tempering impulsivity with patience. In this seminar, I will describe our findings from different experimental approaches that shed light on the mechanisms underlying this important cognitive process in primates.
